_Part time Communal Area Cleaner position_

About Us:

We run a small family owned contract cleaning company which is based in Surrey but we have jobs across London, Hampshire, Berkshire and the South and South East.

We carry out cleaning in the communal areas of blocks of flats.

About the role:

We are currently looking for a cleaner to work on a part-time basis at one of our sites in Basingstoke.

The site is cleaned fully once a week and each block has an additional lobby area clean once a week.

The total weekly hours are 21 hours per week (split across 3 days for 1 cleaner or 1.5 days for 2 cleaners)

The role will include:

Cleaning of communal areas - hoovering, dusting of skirtings and bannisters, cleaning and polishing glass, wiping off marks on the walls, polishing lifts, removing cobwebs, cleaning hard floor areas etc.

Removing litter found in the communal areas

Reporting in any issues found on site

About the applicant:

We are looking for somebody who is reliable and trustworthy, pays attention to detail, can work independently and who is friendly and approachable.

You will be somebody who enjoys providing a good service, who takes pride in your work and has a good work ethic.

We also need somebody who is confident and comfortable approaching residents to explain and enforce lease rules in a professional manner.

You will ideally have had previous experience in a similar cleaning position.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

We are often taking on new work so are ideally looking for somebody who would want to take on more sites in the near future.

We pay on a monthly basis and we pay from £10.00 per hour.

This work would be most suited to two friends or a team of 2 who would like to work together.
