Temporary Part Time Help Hub Support Officer
Starting salary between £23358 and £27534 (pro rata) per annum

12-month Temporary Contract hours per week, must be able to work Tuesdays, remaining hours to be discussed at interview.

Based at Kings Court Council Offices, Kings Lynn
Are you passionate about problem solving, and finding ways to support members of our community in need of help and support to improve their lives?

In this role, you would be providing vital support to the Help Hub, a highly effective partnership process consisting of weekly meetings attended by a range of partner agencies from voluntary and statutory agencies.

The Help Hub provides agencies with the forum to work together to create opportunities for individuals to gain access to a variety of necessary support services.

In addition, you would be assisting with the implementation and coordination of the Sanctuary Scheme which is a survivor centred initiative aiming to make it possible for domestic abuse victims to remain in their own homes, where it is safe to do so.

You would be liaising with victim-survivors and contractors for the Sanctuary Scheme, as well as talking to partner agencies as part of your role to support the Help Hub.

For this will need excellent interpersonal skills and you will have experience of working with vulnerable households and with a range of professions and organisations.

You will also have good organisational and IT skills in order to effectively carry out the necessary administration associated with the support role as well as 2 years experience in a relevant area such as housing, social/community care, welfare or advice service.
