Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for endusers
  • Provide technical assistance for network connectivity problems, including VPN and wireless connections
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Assist with user account management in Active Directory
  • Conduct software installations and updates using SCCM or similar tools

Experience:


  • Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 7/10)
  • Familiarity with Mac OS X
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware components
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account management

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months


Pay:
£179.41 per day

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
