Croma Vigilant are offering an exciting opportunity for a security professional to join our expanding team, working with a high-profile client.

  • Pay rate: £12.04 per hour
  • The Shift Timings will be 16:00 03:00, 16:00 00:00, 18:00 02:00, 19:00 04:00, 20:00 04:00,

Role Purpose


To undertake assessments of risk and to deliver visible security patrols and prevention centric initiatives in response to community requests for assistance, information and advice in relation to crime and antisocial behaviour.


To work collectively with all officers in the service to agree the use of resources in response to community requests for assistance, information and advice in relation to crime and antisocial behaviour.

To lead in the engagement and communication with key stakeholders


To deliver uniformed, visible Housing Estate and Community based patrol interventions that reduce risk and reassure communities, including working during unsocial hours where required.


To design and deliver integrated responses to problems in high risk locations, utilising all resources provided and as per CSAS and Croma guidelines.


To be responsible for sharing information and data effectively adhering to safeguarding and data sharing principles and promoting this with all stakeholders especially elected members.


To be self-directing and to take responsibility for their own learning and development and to be confident to identify opportunities for innovation to improve the service in terms of creating and improving policies, procedures and delivery models, particularly through the evaluation and review of case work performance, the development of practice and customer feedback.


Example outcomes or objectives that this role will deliver (this is not an exhaustive list)

  • Participate in decision making around the use and delivery of resources across the service;
  • Provide a responsive uniformed presence within the community, undertaking patrolling, intervention and engagement at locations where high risk ASB has been identified and vulnerable victims are at risk of harm, including working during unsocial hours where appropriate;
  • Lead the Councils community engagement and patrolling response following a serious or critical incident in order reassure and protect vulnerable community members and prevent escalation;
  • Support and coordinate operations within public realm settings utilising Neighbourhood Police, Street Presence, CCTV and other Community Safety partnership resources;
  • Provide a reactive uniformed presence within Camden's Night Time Economy (NTE), working with Regulatory Services, partnership resources and businesses to help make the NTE safer for all users;
  • Progress and support the use of legislation, which makes victims safer, working collectively to match scarce resources to those cases identified as priority by the service;
  • To gather, filter and organise information & intelligence for directed and further action against offenders, share information and facilitate crossborder liaison;
  • To Detect, Disrupt & Deter offenders and take appropriate enforcement action where and when required;
  • To provide education and awarenessbased patrols in the public domain, in a private policing remit to manage crime, ASB and other forms of nuisance in a borough/area wide setting
  • To task hot spot localities identified by the public, the Police and the local authority and actively prioritise low level and quality of life issues;
  • To work in partnership with Local Service providers: Police, Intelligence Units, Crime Reduction and Community Safety Units;
  • To provide a reduction in the fear of crime and improved reassurance through committed public liaison, stakeholders engagement and by attending various Council, Police and public meetings in relation to this role.

  • Must live within a 30minute radius of Camden and have access to transport;

Frontline Door Supervision SIA licence essential;:

Full clean UK Drivers Licence; held for at least 2 years; Essential:

  • Previous experience within similar role;
  • Fully comprehensive 5year work/education history
  • Excellent communication & administration skills;
  • Reliable with excellent timemanagement skills;
  • Smart, wellgroomed and confident;
  • Conflict management and community safety aware;
  • High level of Customer Care Awareness;
  • Telephone/switchboard/radio skills;
  • IT literacy;
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal;
  • Fluent in a foreign language would be advantageous but is not mandatory;
  • Ability to be successfully vetted against NPPV2 and CSAS (Community Safety Accreditation Sc
