We are a small but very busy coffee shop in bourton on the water, serving coffee, light bites and a large selection of cakes brownies and cookies all prepared in house.

We are looking for a kitchen porter/ kitchen assistant to join our team must have an interest in baking and food presentation, with good work ethic and able to work as part of a team.

full time or part time hours available

As a Kitchen Porter/ kitchen assistant you will be able to work alongside the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and safe workplace across the kitchen and all the back-of-house areas.

Ideally, you'll have worked in similar food, restaurant or café environments before or you'll simply have a passion for baking and cakes.

Main Responsibilities

• Clear and Collect and wash pots, pans, plates, and cutlery
• Assisting baker weighing out ingredients preparing and decorating cakes/bakes.
• Preparing paninis baguette ect.
• Preparing salad and prepping ingredients as needed.
• Ensure pots, pans, plates, and cutlery are put back into service as quickly as possible
• Wash and disinfect kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls
• Ensure all the kitchen equipment is properly stored
• Assisting with deliveries ensuring packed away correctly and stock is rotated.
• Ensure cleaning rotas is followed and adhered to at all times
• Remove and recycle waste from the kitchen

from £11 for over 23 rising in April

plus service change/tips averaging at £1.50ph

must be able to travel to and from bourton on the water GL54 2AN
