Radius is exclusively partnered with a leading global IT technology provider based in London. Who are actively seeking a Senior Legal Counsel.


This role will be reporting to the General Counsel and Head of Commercial Contracts, this role will lead negotiations on the supply and procurement side, efficiently bringing deals to a favourable close, support internal teams on a range of legal queriesand manage external advisers where necessary.


Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and draft all types of commercial agreements including sales contracts, supplier contracts, hosting agreements, data transfer agreements, NDAs and others.
  • Managing external lawyers where specialist advice is required, e.g. in relation to property matters.
  • Provision of robust, clear and commercially focused legal advice specifically focusing on areas that would otherwise bring risk into the business.
  • Horizon scanning for new laws and advising the internal legal team and stakeholders as needed.
  • Keeping the Company legally secured and compliant with laws, regulations and the industry business standards (including data and information security standards) and advising on issues and solutions in this regard.
  • Records Management.


  • Company secretarial work

  • There is a limited amount of work in this space to ensure that the company is managed in alignment with the Article of Associations and Company's House requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified solicitor, with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
  • Track record in managing high volumes of commercial contracts.
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic lawyer who can "take a view" and understands real risk v theoretical risk.
  • Expertise in contract law, ideally with inhouse experience in a busy sales focused environment.
