School Liaison and Marketing Officer

Hull

Salary:
£
per annum, £22,669 FTE**
37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year


The
School Liaison and Marketing Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local schools and colleges, planning and executing marketing campaigns, providing advice and guidance to students, and reporting on the outcomes of school liaison and marketing activities.

You will work closely with other departments to develop and implement effective outreach and marketing strategies, attend school and community events, and manage databases and systems to track engagement activities.

Responsibilities of our
School Liaison and Marketing Officer:

  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, college and other education providers to promote college courses and services
  • Act as the point of contact for all feeder schools to arrange events / activities for the college
  • Organise and participate in events, presentations, and activities aimed at promoting the college to schools and prospective students
  • Provide advice and guidance to schools and prospective students about college courses, admission requirements, and financial support
  • Collaborate with college departments to develop and implement effective outreach strategies to attract more students
  • Attend school and community events to promote the college and increase awareness of its programs and services
  • Manage and update relevant databases and systems to ensure accurate tracking of school and student engagement activities
  • Report on the outcomes of school liaison activities and provide regular feedback to the Senior Management Team
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of education policies and initiatives to ensure the college is wellpositioned to respond to changing requirements

What we're looking for in our
School Liaison and Marketing Officer:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, working in an education or youth-focused organisation
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with schools and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with local education policies and initiatives in England
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
  • Marketing experience and knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
