ABOUT THE ROLE


You'll work closely with product managers, product owners, architecture teams, development teams as well as other stakeholders, to specify, estimate, enhance and implement products that enable the client's business strategy, meet expected standards, and deliver a consistent experience to customers and users.

You will take overall responsibility the successful delivery focusing on quality, cost/budget, engineering rigour, standards alignment and compliance, supplier and resource selection and performance.

Hybrid working requiring two days per week in Oxford

To be successful you will also have:

Essential:

  • Experience of shaping, advising on, and delivering products solutions to required quality within agreed budget and timescales
  • A proven ability to deliver technical solutions and enhancements to those solutions
  • Domain knowledge and experience in digital products
  • Knowledge of development methodologies including Agile development
  • Experience of managing external suppliers, negotiating costs and service levels
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and emerging situations
  • Confidence to use own evaluation and judgment to select course of action.

Desirable:

  • Digital publishing product knowledge
  • Agile certification.
