We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join our dynamic and diverse Transport division.

The HR Business Partner role is a vital to our continued success and will work closely with our key stakeholders to lead and manage all people management activity.

You will use your influencing skills daily within a diverse and commercial focused business.

The HR Business Partner will be a hands-on role, supporting Managers within heavily unionised rail contracts, identifying areas of risk and opportunities when leading all people management activity.

You'll be:

  • Acts as a single point of the Human Resources contact for the managers in the business unit
  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
  • Manages complex and difficult HR Projects crossfunctionally
  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes

You'll have:

  • HR Business Partner experience at a senior level, ideally in within the Facilities Management Sector
  • Excellent knowledge of Employment Law and the ability to deal with complex case management including trade union cases
  • Strong consultation, Influencing, negotiation and mediation skills
  • Considerable working knowledge/understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusiveness
  • Experience of Managing TUPE transfers.

Desirable qualifications/experience:

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5/7)
