We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Harrogate. As a marketing team, there a creative bunch and are also commercially focused.

Running campaigns across the business to help our customers understand our products and services and to get them to do more business with the group.


As a growing business with several recent acquisitions, we now need an in-house Marketing Executive/Designer to help us create compelling visuals and communications to tell our exciting story.

As a relatively small team, we are also looking for a designer who can also help us with broader marketing tasks.

So, the role might suit someone who is currently a designer but aspires to work in wider marketing roles, or someone who is simply flexible around this.


You will work with the marketing team on key campaign and projects, devising creative ideas and techniques and creating professional-looking output.

Simply put, the goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.


The role is hybrid and the postholder is contracted to work a 37.5-hour week, core times being 8.30 am -5 pm.

The role will be predominantly home based, however, the postholder will be required to attend Head Office at least two day per week.


Your day will look like this:

  • Working with the marketing managers to take a brief, understanding timescales and requirements.
  • Establish and build brand guidelines across multiple brands.
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts aligned to brand guidelines.
  • Preparing drafts of materials based on agreed brief.
  • Keeping marketing managers and internal clients up to date and acting on feedback and exploring design ideas.
  • Working alongside the marketing and sales team to translate their ideas into inspiring resources.
  • You'll work though the entire process of defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics including illustrations, graphics, photos brochures, whitepapers, flyers etc and website elements.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency as well as developing the brand look and feel across the entire group (we own multiple brands).
  • You will be involved in compiling and creating PowerPoint presentations for members of the Executive team.
  • You will also assist marketing managers in executing marketing campaigns and events.

How you can help us with your experience:

  • You'll ideally have 1+ years' experience in design and design tools and / or an educational design background.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud suite experience is a strong preference.
  • Basic animation and video editing ideal
  • Excellent communication.
  • Infographics experience important.
  • Many of our customer conversations use PowerPoint so experience here is important.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations and graphics.
  • Selfmotivated and willing to take the initiative.
  • Eye for detail and able to spot spelling and grammatical errors.
  • Ability to multitask.
