The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK's Building Services sector.

Alternative Heat design, develop and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Europe.


We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe.

We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe

Due to continued growth, we are looking to integrate a Warehouse Stock Controller to support our growing warehouse team. The team of ten you will join will give you a complete sense of welcoming and belonging. With this permanent contract you will work alongside other operatives, co-ordinator and trade sales to help service our growing trade network


Role:

***You will play a crucial role with the stocking, picking, packing and dispatch of our inventory of spare parts and underfloor heating products that we supply to our ever expanding trade network. You will be working alongside an established supportive and well organised team who will support you with their experiences, knowledge and skill set. The role requires a self-driven approach, with attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a desire to collaborate with others.

Responsible to |

Head of Logistics & Warehousing

Key Responsibilities:


  • Stock Control including Checking Off, maintaining levels (min/max), stock delivery.
  • Unloading / Loading of Stock.
  • Maintain layout of Stock allocated areas within the stores.
  • Liaise with Stores Admin, returning signed/checked/ticked PODs on daily basis.
  • Liaise with Warehouse & Logistics Manager daily.
  • Sort, Pack and Allocate materials for production line.
  • Housekeeping
  • Maintain an organised and tidy store.
  • Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position as per W&L Manager.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


Essential Criteria:


  • Stock Control Experience
  • Computer skills including the ability to operate Microsoft Office.
  • Organised and structured approach to your work
  • Ability to work under pressure and cope with a varied portfolio of work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good attendance and timekeeping record
  • Good interpersonal Skills

Desired Criteria:


  • Pervious Warehouse and Logistics Experience
  • Forklift Licence
