Description
We're looking for a Premises Officer to join our facilities management team based at Conisborough College, Lewisham.


Location:
Conisborough College, Lewisham


Contract:
Permanent, full time - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week


What will you be responsible for?


As a Premises Officer, you will be working within the facilities management team, supporting them to maintain the upkeep of the school premises to always ensure a safe environment.


Your day to day will include:

  • Performing low level lamp changing, minor joinery repairs, minor plumbing repairs, machine cleaning and grounds maintenance
  • Taking deliveries, carrying out emergency cleaning as required and conducting adjustments and maintenance.
  • Reporting building maintenance issues to the office team and working with the facilities teams regarding work progress.
  • Locking and unlocking of grounds, managing site security, and carrying out fire and safety precautions across the site

What are we looking for?
This role of Premises Officer is great for you if:

  • You have previous experience within a maintenance, caretaker, or porter role
  • You deliver effective customer service and can engage with colleagues and the client in a positive manner.
  • Experience in changing light bulbs, minor repairs, putting up shelves, building flat pack furniture or a strong interest in DIY
