My client is an award-winning Wealth Manager with over 60 staff and 2000 clients, including private individuals, companies, and charities all around the UK.

Due to growth within the business, this organisation now have an opening for an experienced Paraplanner to join their culture led team.

**Role:
You will be responsible for the day to day Paraplanning analysis and problem solving activities of the business, including the provision of suitability reports and client portfolio reviews as required to deliver robust performance that aligns withthe the firm's chosen business strategy.

Role Requirements**:


  • You will have an in depth understanding of financial planning and the investment arena and keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative or technical changes pertinent to the role.
  • Delivery of exceptional analysis of services available to clients whilst maintaining sound risk management and compliance practices.
  • Deliver confident customer service to clients and consultants, handling day to day technical queries relating to new and existing business.

General Responsibilities:


  • Prepare robust suitability letters for all areas of financial planning.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Client portfolio reviews including investment analysis.
  • Maintain all records (electronic and paper) in line with company procedures.
  • Liaise with Administration to ensure smooth processing of new business.
  • Attend client/product provider meetings, where appropriate.

Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years' Paraplanning experience
  • Minimum of Level 4 Diploma; ideally working towards Chartered, if not already achieved.
  • Ability to present and write technical reports on holistic financial planning matters.
  • Ability to write clearly and simply, using terminology that is easily digestible for clients to understand.
  • Experience of FE Analytics, Selectapension, Defacto & Voyant
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Confident using Excel to perform calculations, analysis and chart production
