Salary Range: £160-£220 per day (paid to scale)

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Humanities Teacher to join our SEN school in Crosby. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver Humanities lessons to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated Humanities lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting academic and personal growth.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to provide targeted support for pupils.
• Support the wider school ethos, contributing to extracurricular activities and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching Humanities, preferably with an understanding of SEN strategies.
• Skills: Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to suit diverse needs.
• Attributes: A creative, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
• Training: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential, as training is provided).
• An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references related to teaching.
