Terumo Aortic is recruiting for a Facilities Support Operator on a fixed term basis to support the collection of waste streams from site operations, ensure site yards, car parks and surrounding areas are free from waste and surplus material and provide support for collection of waste from site users and ensure safe storage of used chemicals.

This will be a backshift role.


KEY DUTIES:

  • Ensure waste collection areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Collection of paper waste from site locations
  • Collection of other waste streams from site personnel as required
  • Collect and maintain documentation to meet safety, quality and project compliance and legislation
  • Actively participate in performance management objectives and demonstrate Company values
  • Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support plant objectives and personal career development
  • Completion of documentation for Quality management and maintenance management systems

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working within a chemical and waste environment
  • Working knowledge of HSAWA and COSHH systems
  • Painting & decorating experience
  • Process experience

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months
