Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

For Plumbers:

Install plumbing systems according to architectural drawings and technical specifications.
Complete first and second fix plumbing work, including pipework, fixtures, and fittings for water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
Collaborate closely with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure seamless coordination during the construction process.
Troubleshoot and resolve any plumbing issues that may arise, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed plumbing systems.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment on the construction site.

For Plumbers Mates:

Assist experienced plumbers in all aspects of plumbing work, including carrying materials, preparing work areas, and supporting with installations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
Support a positive and collaborative team atmosphere by communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in a plumbing, mechanical engineering or building services related discipline
Full UK driving licence

Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical specifications
Comprehensive understanding of plumbing codes and regulations
Strong problemsolving abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced construction environment
Experience in first and second fix plumbing work in residential construction projects (for Plumbers)
Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and tools (for Plumbers Mates)
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Valid plumbing license/certification (for Plumbers)
Clean driving record
