Purpose

A dramatic transformation of the Shaftesbury Theatre for the 21st Century began in 2016 with the completion of the award-winning fly tower.

Significant further phases of the work are now complete which gives the Theatre well-designed and sizable bars, two hospitality suites and a "grab and go" coffee shop, Box Office Brew, which enjoys outside seating on the recently completed Princes Circus.

Alongside physical improvements, an extensive daytime conference and events programme is being developed to boost both the Theatre's profile and its profitability which will complement the activity of the principal production, currently MRS DOUBTFIRE.

The Bars and Hospitality department has been created to devise and implement an exciting food and drink offer, deliver amazing service, and drive the business and revenue of our busy West End Theatre.
