Financial Controller

Job Summary:

Main objective is to support the day to day activities of the senior Operations team, ensuring strong financial controls are followed to help maximise revenue generation from daily activities.

You will report directly to the Financial Controller and act as a 'Finance Business Partner' within the Operations team.

Ecommerce/warehousing/logistics experience would be preferable
Interesting role for someone who is looking for variety and to build commercial exposure outside of a finance department

Activities will include (but not exhaustive):

Reconciliation of daily direct labour hours
ensuring accuracy for daily KPIs & Weekly P&L and payroll
Sense checking and interrogation of customer recharges and billing helping maximise revenue generation
Monitoring of Operational KPIs & SLAs
Supporting labour planning and coordination for Operations Management
Ad hoc reporting and analysis for both Finance & Operations
Supporting adherence to internal processes
Operational admin support for the onboarding of new customers
Admin support for day to day Operations

Additional information:

This is a newly created role, and one which has been identified to help collaboration between two busy departments within an ambitious ecommerce fulfilment business.

The role will be varied, but there will be a strong element of routine required to ensure daily processes are followed to support both departments.

Day to day will be very Operationally focussed and you will be sat within warehouse Operations office, helping to coordinate day to day activities, however you will report directly to our Financial Controller as a business partner within the company.

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
