Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist with experience with an adult acquired caseload to develop clinical expertise with clients who have swallowing/communication disorders arising from a diagnosis of Head & Neck Cancer or its treatments, and to those presenting from ENT with a diagnosis of dysphonia (voice disorders) of all aetiologiess.

On developing a sufficient level of skills, you will work independently to provide specialist assessment, therapy and advice to this specialist area.

You will also support the highly specialist therapist working with clients with cancers of the head & neck and the highly specialist voice therapist.

As the service necessitates, You will also be required to work within inpatient and outpatient settings to provide speech and language therapy to a general caseload of adults with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing.

You will also be required provide specialist knowledge, advice, training and teaching to carers, students, SLT team, medical and ENT staff.
