Our client a high-growth technology company who are driving change in their industry worldwide is seeking a
Software Developer (Java)to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art office located on the outskirts of Exeter.
What will you be doing?
- Working on serverside systems, processing large datasets and implementing bespoke function
- Realtime data processing and optimisation
- Contributing to the businesses portfolio of innovative products
- Ownership of key server processes and services
- Deployment and upkeep of relevant services
- Ensuring lowdebt, defensive, and secure solutions
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience using Java
- Experience reading and writing to largeSQL/mySQLdatabases
- Experience using C++ advantageous
- Experience and familiarity with cloud platforms
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kube)
- Familiarity with building unit and regression tests
- Previous experience in a DevOps environment beneficial
