Description

WD Leisure Trust are looking to hire a Technical Officer who will have a key role in ensuring the effective planned preventative and reactive maintenance of leisure facilities, including buildings plant and equipment.


Key activities:

  • Technical operation, repair and maintenance of buildings, plant and equipment including swimming pool filtration, disinfection, heating and ventilation systems
  • Undertake the chemical treatment of swimming pool water including daily operation of pool treatment plant, regular backwashing pf filters and monitoring and recording of water quality test results. Liaise with Environmental Health colleagues, as required
  • To check and maintain Emergency Systems including Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems, and retain appropriate records
  • To check and maintain fitness and sports equipment, cleaning equipment, saunas & steamrooms, and associated plant
  • To arrange for quotations for repair or replacement of plant and equipment and issue work orders to contractors, as necessary
  • To ensure works carried out by contractors are performed to the specified standards as set out in control documentation / service level agreements or other types of documentation in which the standard of service to be provided is describes
