About our Client
Our client is a well-established corporate tax practice which has been growing steadily over the past 20+ years. They all work remotely and so this opportunity is available nationwide. However, there would be an expectation to meet with the team in Bristolquarterly.

Due to their continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious, Big 4 (or top 10) trained corporate tax specialist to join their elite team.

Corporate Tax Manager - The Role

Specifically, a large percentage (approximately 60%) of the work is tax compliance, including CT600 computations and preparing tax disclosure notes for Statutory accounts.

Typical technical areas of expertise will include capital allowances, M&A, R&D, PatentBox, CFCs and iXBRL tagging.

The Successful Applicant

As Corporate Tax Manager you will be a "hands-on" proactive tax professional who values building relationships as well as being a technical specialist.

You will have:

Achieved the level of chartered accountant (ACA/ CA)
Ideally achieved the level of chartered tax advisor (CTA);
Experience of working within the Big 4 or a top 10 firm;
Worked in a corporate tax department for at least 5 years;
Strong technical knowledge in all, or the majority of, the areas outlined above;
Hands on knowledge of using tax computation software, preferably Digita or Alphatax;
A desire to work autonomously, manage your own time and make your own decisions;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders;
The opportunity to help grow the business through your own contacts.
