We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our small and supportive team working in a hybrid role from our head offices in Hammersmith.

The Role
The role of Finance Assistant will be critical to support the business and continued growth.

We are looking for individuals from a financial background with a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and passion for success and continuous improvement.

Role responsibilities

Timely processing of purchase invoices.
Timely raising of sales invoices with PO's where applicable and according to client contracts.
Responsible for the credit control; regularly chasing clients for outstanding payments and review weekly with line manager.
Weekly bank reconciliations with bank statement backup.
Responsible for maintaining the cash book and assist with maintenance of weekly cash flow forecast.
Bimonthly processing of staff expenses.
Monthly Credit Card reconciliation with backup statement and receipts.
Assisting Management Accountant with balance sheet reconciliations each month end.
Assist with quarterly VAT returns.
Ad hoc project work and reports.

Skills required required

Basic knowledge of double entry accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Working knowledge of any accounting systems
A keen interest in Accounting and Finance
A selfstarter, able to work as a team and individually
High level of numerical aptitude
Credit control skills
