Contract duration: 12 month fixed term contract


Kingston GP Chambers are delighted to be advertising an Admin Support Officer vacancy on behalf of Sutton Primary Care Network.


The admin support officer will support our SWL Training Hub CIC on its journey to enable all six SWL training hubs to deliver against HEE, SWL ICB and NHSE requirements.

The SWL TH CIC will support allied providers to improve their sustainability and resilience; secure operational stability; develop more effective ways of working and help practices embed new models of care.


The post holder will be an experienced, competent and organized administrator, with a health service background and preferably with experience of working in primary care.

They will support the CIC Directors and management team in all aspects of CIC administration and they will need to be highly motivated, efficient and forward thinking with the ability to work autonomously where needed and adjust rapidly to the developing needs of the organization.


Main duties of the job

  • Key Responsibilities_
  • Ensure the timely collection of data and support the submission of reports
  • Assist the CIC management team to bid for suitable projects and ensure correct paperwork is in place and reporting intervals met
  • Help disseminate information from key stakeholders such as SWL ICB, HEE, NHSE, etc to the CIC board and borough TH leads
  • Lead on the development and ongoing management of the SWL TH CIC website and social media campaigns
  • Support the finance process for logging invoices and income relevant to the CIC and for passing over to other organisations and THs as required
  • Assist with all CIC meetings (weekly, OAB, CIC Board) including set up, agenda, minute taking and distribution of papers
  • Create a regular SWL TH CIC Newsletter (probably monthly) and disseminate accordingly to local THs and other key stakeholders
  • Supporting SWL SDF Fellowships and Mentorship programmes as required
  • Support the management of the CIC one drive to ensure documents are appropriate filed for future reference
  • Help with the set up and running of organisational development events and ensuring appropriate attendance, sharing of papers, etc

Training Hubs are a HEE model designed to meet the educational needs of multi-disciplinary health and social care team bringing together NHS organisations, community providers and local authorities.


South West London Training Hub CIC is a not-for-profit organisation, set up to hold the HEE and any other contracts and working across South West London.

SWL Training Hubs include Croydon, Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth. Whilst each Training Hub retains its independence, a key theme is working together and 'doing things once' as appropriate.

Place based Training Hubs will sometimes lead on a specific project across SWL on behalf of SWL Training Hub CIC.


SWL Training Hub CIC is rapidly developing and committed to supporting agile and flexible working, recognising that this will lead to more effective and efficient delivery.


Job responsibilities
