Trainee Business Support / Finance Assistant

Salary:
From £22,000 (experience dependant)


Location:
Northallerton, North Yorkshire


Contract:
Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week.

As we continue our steady expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Business Support/Finance Assistant to join our multi discipline workforce.

In this newly created role you will be part of our Business Support team, efficiently and effectively assisting our Accounts Manager with financial work as well as helping business development by reviewing frameworks and keeping them up to date, all vital in supporting smooth running of the business.


You will join a very busy and professional team who work in our Northallerton office so clear communication skills and attention to detail will be key to succeed in this role.

You will be able manage your time effectively, confidently use software such as Microsoft Office and Excel and bring enthusiasm and drive to your work every day.


This is the perfect role for someone with experience in a similar role or a recent graduate who has some commercial or business experience and is looking for a role to start their career after university.

You will be joining us at good time as we continue to expand our business across the north of England.

There will be more exciting projects on the horizon and we are looking for people who want to take on new skills as part of their career development.

To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to coordinate and monitor the use of financial information.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse, organise and present financial and numerical data.
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Good communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to assimilate and interpret information and act on own initiative
  • Experience and competence using IT and common business support packages including word processing and spreadsheets
