Are you passionate about creating exceptional experiences? We're seeking a skilled Events Administrator to join our prestigious hotel team.


A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the sales department at the recently refurbished White Hart Hotel, Lincoln. Located in the heart of Lincoln's historic quarter, the hotel offers a selection of function rooms, hosting events such as weddings, conferences, business meetings, celebrations, and Christmas events. The hotel features a 1AA Rosette restaurant, a selection of bars and 49 bedrooms.

Responsibilities:


  • Inputting data and details into the sales system.
  • Diary Management booking in appointments for the Wedding & Events Sales Manager.
  • Maintaining excellent product knowledge of the hotel and its products/services.
  • To be responsible for the main administration in the sales office.
  • To assist the Wedding & Events Sales Manager with producing the weekly function pack, where required.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all event details are meticulously executed.
  • Phone coverage Monday and Friday.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors, where required.
  • Offering general support to the Wedding & Events Sales Manager and team.
  • Ordering stationery.
  • To attend hotel meetings as required and assist in minute taking.
  • To attend all required training both onsite and offsite.
  • To assist the Wedding & Events Sales Manager with organising and hosting the Wedding Open Evenings at the hotel.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
  • Displays confidence and great communication skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Smart & professional appearance.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Quick learner and high attention to detail.
  • Effective organisational and prioritisation skills ability to be proactive, multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible, hardworking, reliable and a keen team player who is also able to work independently.
  • Friendly and personable.

Salary:
£7.49-£10.42 per hour
