SWR Group is a growing, vibrant, investors in people accredited organisation based in Maylands Industrial Estate, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

We have 4 business divisions, Steel Wire Rope Sales and Manufacture, Balustrade Fabrication and trade/retail sales.

Home products, garage doors, bi-folds, windows, awnings etc installed by in house fitters and Garage door spares sales to trade businesses.

We employ 50 full time staff, based in Hemel Hempstead. We are Investors in People Gold Company and pride ourselves on our culture.

We are looking for a picker/packer to work within our existing stock team. The current stock team consist of 5 members and works closely across the 4 Business Divisions. The picker/packer role be expected to pick and pack goods for external customers and our in-house production team.

They will also be expected to assist in other tasks such as goods in and despatch as and when required.

Full training will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

• To pick/pack and dispatch wire rope, balustrade, garage door spares and associated parts
• To assist in the receipt of goodsinwards according to the correct procedure.
• To assist in the yearly/monthly stock take schedule ensuring all discrepancies and mistakes are addressed and resolved.
• To check paperwork has been completed correctly and that all stock has been allocated correctly.
• To ensure primary pick faces are fully stocked and transferred as per the procedure.
• To proactively report any stock issues found when picking
• To work in line with SWR's Health and Safety and Housekeeping policies

Required Skills & Experience:

• Someone who thrives under pressure & working to deadlines
• Minimum of 1 years warehouse experience
• Attention to detail & accuracy
• Action orientated
• Proactive nature
• Competent Maths and English Skills

From £20,000.00 per year
