Description
Kromachem Ltd is a well-established, independently owned, mid-sized and successful company with multiple sites.

We are a raw material producer and distributor to the coatings, inks and plastics industries and supply throughout Europe, US and globally.

We have two offices in the UK and one in Germany. Our Group consolidated turnover is around £18 Million. Our UK production facility is based in Hyde, Tameside and our facilities on site include a rest area with pool table, TV, eating and relaxation area, and free on-site parking

The role involves manufacturing pigment dispersions and specialty additives for radiation curing inks and coatings.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating and cleaning the mixing and milling equipment
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Receiving goods in
  • General housekeeping of your work area.

Salary
£12.54/hour initially, with an increase on successful completion of the probation period


Hours
38.25 hours per week. Mon-Thurs 8am - 4.30pm, Fri 8am - 4pm + Overtime (when available)


Duration
Permanent - After successful completion of 3 months' probation


Description
Full training will be provided although previous experience within a processing industry would be advantageous.

Counterbalance fork lift truck license is essential.


A good standard of education including English and Mathematics at GCSE required as you will be completing batch sheets, maintenance logs and weighing/mixing.

Must be physically fit as lifting is involved.
