Who We Are Looking For:

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting Daily Activities: Assist in the day-to-day care and support of children, including personal care, meal times, and recreational activities.

Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to develop coping strategies and resilience in the face of challenges.

Behavior Management: Implement behavior management techniques in line with care plans and policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.

Educational Support: Support children with their educational needs, including homework assistance and participation in educational activities.

Healthcare Assistance: Assist in administering medication and attending to the healthcare needs of children, under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any incidents or concerns, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the holistic needs of each child are met.

Continuous Learning: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of childcare, staying abreast of best practices and legislative requirements.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Qualification in Children's Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in a care setting is desirable.
- Compassionate and nurturing approach to childcare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
