Sports Media.

The Opportunity:

A very rare opportunity to join a UK based, but global, sports media business.
The start-up company will soon be planning, producing, and promoting sports content to a global youth audience.

The business' purpose is to motivate young people to be the best they can be, get outside more, and follow their dreams.

The company is looking for a co-founder, paid position, to manage the filming and production of all content.

Your Responsibilities:

As this is a co-founder position, you will be asked to wear many hats, including:

Strategy - work alongside the other co-founder to conceptualise, plan, and then manage a 12-month filming, recording, and production calendar.

Filming and production - delivery of multiple assets each week; short, medium, and long form video, including intro and outro designs.

Management - total ownership of the media channels social promotions. Designing, editing, and finally launching the content across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Emil, and More.
Media and partner relations - managing ongoing press requirements, sponsorship and sports partnerships.

Expansion - as a starting point, the main sport and content will be focused on Football, but as the media company grows, you will expand into other sports such as Running, Fitness, Cricket, Rugby Golf, and Tennis.

Merch Management - alongside the other co-founder and team, you will plan and execute any future merchandise and branding.

Your Skills and Attributes:

This is a graduate level role, so we do not expect you to be a master of your trade. More importantly you will show hunger and a passion to learn, plus an eye for detail and market trends.
You will love sports and believe in the power of fitness for Children's wellbeing and character building.

Other skills and abilities required include:
Video and photography production, shooting, editing and delivery across channels.
Design and branding across all content formats, including social, video, web and podcast.
Social platform expertise - in depth knowledge of Insta, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Entrepreneurialism - alongside the other co-founder and team, you will drive initiatives and timelines, you will have to be self-motivated.

Inspirational attitude - you will be filming juniors; they will need motivating and guiding to ensure the best quality footage and outcomes.

Consistency - this is a 12-month (minimum) project that requires a consistent level of output, design and quality each week.
