Salary:
Up to £100k Basic + Car Allowance and Other Benefits


Working Pattern:
Hybrid - 2/3 days in the office

Douglas Scott have partnered with a leading entertainment business in their search for a new Head of Legal. The position will provide international exposure, working closely with the wider global legal team and various key stakeholders.

  • Full management of the legal function whilst maintaining a hands on approach to legal work.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating the full range of commercial agreements within the business (supplier, marketing, IT/Tech, distribution etc ).
  • Engaging in wider legal project work including but not limited to, corporate activities, compliance/governance, prelitigation, employment etc
  • Managing key relationships with external counsel to ensure effective and costefficient advice at all times.
  • Developing and implementing key process and procedural improvements across the business and legal function.
  • Sufficient PQE in a corporate/commercial legal capacity.
  • Preferably have inhouse experience but not a necessity.
  • Ideally have some wider experience to governance/compliance issues but again not absolutely crucial.
  • Wider jurisdictional experience will be an added bonus.
