The 4 Hilton Garden Inn Sunderland are seeking to hire a Part-Time Casual Night Porter.

Reporting to the Night Manager, we are looking for someone who is flexible, dedicated, and hardworking with the capability of carrying out all duties to a consistently high standard.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

Dealing with all aspects of the hotel at night (shifts are 11.00pm 7.00am).
Be able to work on their own effectively and efficiently especially on their own initiative.
To deal with guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Assist in the smooth running of the front office desk during your shift including checking in and out of hotel guests, answering telephone calls and assisting in night audit procedures.
To complete all duties as allocated including Breakfast, Front Office and Conference & Banqueting facilities are setup to the required specification.
Ensure a clean lobby, and desk area during shift.
Ensure that the guest is awakened as requested by accepting, recording and executing wakeup calls.
Service of alcoholic beverages in the residents bar.
Handover to the reception team coming on board at the end of each shift.
Minimum of one year's experience in a similar role in a 3*/4* hotel
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
Standards driven and detail orientated.
Ability to multitask in fastpaced environment.
