Sticky Fingers preschool is looking to recruit an Early years assistant.

Role includes: 1:1, group time work and assisting key person.

The role requires you to be supportive, motivated & committed. You must be passionate & confident to drive children to obtain their targets.

Requirements:

To have a knowledge and understanding of child development and the EYFS, including early learning outcomes and the characteristics of effective learning.
To use this knowledge to contribute to individuals on a 1:1 & group time to create a stimulating environment in which all of the children can learn and develop.
To offer care for children, ensuring that they feel safe and secure.
To supervise and observe groups of children at play.
To follow and ensure all our policies are adhered to.
To liaise with the management team.
To maintain excellent communication with parents/carers making them feel welcomed, reassured etc.
To ensure a professional attitude at all times.
Willing to learn.
To show commitment.
To have a can do attitude
Be able to work on own initiative.

Experience is desirable but not essential. Must hold a relevant level 3 qualification in childcare.

Part-time term time. Temporary position until July 2023.
