Are you a confident and adaptable individual with experience working in secondary schools? The Supply Room is looking for
Cover Supervisors to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students across Chesterfield and surrounding areas

As a Cover Supervisor, you will
support learning across KS3-4 in various secondary schools, providing support in different classroom environments on a daily basis.

Cover supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the running of the school, ensuring pupils don't miss out on essential learning progress in lessons.

You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and teachers and get to know how mainstream secondary schools work - this is the perfect opportunity for anyone considering a career as a secondary school teacher

Previous experience working in a secondary school as a teaching assistant and/or cover supervisor is essential. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships with students aged 11-16 years, and be confident in supporting and adapting lesson plans for students with special educational needs.

The pay rate for this role ranges from £90 - £110 per day, and the contracts offered by The Supply Room are flexible, ranging from one day to termly bookings depending on your availability and opportunities.
