Team Coordinator - Permanent, Canary Wharf

Hours:40 per week, 08.30am pm Monday to Friday


Salary:
£40,000 to £45,000 dependant on skills & experience


Duties & responsibilities

  • Assist the Health and safety Manager with the central coordinator for fire, health and safety across the portfolio.
  • Manage the H&S team diaries, attend meetings to take minutes, general administration
  • Oversee cost tracking and invoicing for H&S and fire safety service providers. Ensuring purchase orders are correctly raised across the portfolio for services and training provided and that invoices are submitted for payment.
  • Conduct monthly 'onsite' auditing of each scheme covering a checklist including: All H&S documentation, maintenance records and reactive works on life safety and business critical systems, contractor RAMS, SOP's etc
  • Interviews with key team members, FM's, Operations Managers, Property directors, security operatives to ensure service delivery is being achieved in line with our H&S strategy
  • Compile statistics on accidents & incidents for reporting purposes monthly
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of the FM Training program and advise on any training requirements for key job roles across the portfolio
  • Book delivery of courses as per the program
  • Centrally track training compliance across the portfolio

Skills & experience

  • Strong skills in auditing, cost tracking and processing high value payments
  • An intention to continue with lifelong study and continuing professional development
  • Previous experience in the operational management of estates
  • A proven track record in the management of risk, health and safety
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • A strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving
