Butler Rose are delighted to be support our client, a highly reputable London firm, who are recruiting a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to complement the outsourced finance team following strong growth.

Role Requirements

  • Working with the existing team of Accountants, you will be required to complete Bookkeeping and administrative tasks for a range of SME businesses using industry leading tools.
Making journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Filing source documents for all journal entries recorded.
Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
Preparing trial balances.
Performing bank reconciliations.
Performing other duties as required.
Onboarding and offboarding of clients.
Raising client letters of engagement.
Liaising with HMRC and Companies House.
Filing documents correctly with HMRC and Companies House.
Updating Iris and managing ad-hoc tasks for the team.
Scanning and filling post.
Person Requirements
At least 2+ years' experience as a bookkeeper/accounts assistant within practice.
AAT Qualified or close to qualifying is highly desirable.
Experience in dealing with the administration function of an Accountancy Practice, especially dealing with HMRC and Companies House (desirable).
