Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper to join our team. The Fire Stopper will be responsible for installing fire-resistant materials to prevent the spread of fire within buildings. This role requires a combination of carpentry, masonry, electrical, and other technical skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Install fireresistant materials such as fire barriers, fireproofing sprays, and firestop sealants
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to ensure proper installation
  • Use power tools to cut and shape materials
  • Work with various tradespeople to coordinate firestopping efforts
  • Inspect existing fire protection systems and recommend repairs or upgrades

Requirements:


  • Experience in carpentry, masonry, electrical work, or related fields
  • Proficiency with power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to plumb, weld, paint, and fabricate materials
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations and building codes
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Pay:
£180.00-£195.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
