Production Operative/Production Engineer - Sheffield UK

Kingkraft is a manufacturer of specialist disability products which are class 1 medical devices, the majority of our products are made to order often with specialist adaptations.

Our products are installed throughout the UK and worldwide.

We are seeking an enthusiastic
production operative who can learn how to manufacture and assemble all of our products.

There will be ample opportunity to progress through the company developing specialist skills along the way, we require someone with excellent attention to detail, a mechanical mind, hard working and willing to learn.

Specifically the role will be on our general assembly operations creating our height adjustable baths, basins and changing tables. This will involve plastic welding and fabrication, basic plumbing, basic electrical work and general assembly work.

We have strict deadlines to hit to service our clients so we need someone who can work under pressure but deliver excellent products.

Some site fitting work may also be required from time to time assisting our engineers, this can be throughout the UK but also overseas.

We offer a competitive salary depending on experience with the opportunity to progress, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and a 3:30pm Friday finish.

The role will mainly involve the following tasks;

• Mechanical assembly of products
• Understanding and translating production drawings

- some site work as and when required helping install our products.
