Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant for overnight care, to join our team.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in their homes or in a care home setting.

Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.


Responsibilities:

• Overnight care
• Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Help create and implement care plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting and overnight care is preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Valid driver's license with a reliable mode of transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
