Priory is the leading independent provider of mental healthcare and adult social care in the UK.

  • We are recruiting for a Fixed Term 12 Month Maternity Cover, Procurement Performance Controller. Initially we are looking for a full time employee, however we are open to consider part time applicants.
  • The role is advertised as £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
  • Hybrid working also considered (remote), but must be willing to travel at own expense to the Priory Northern Office, Darlington as and when required.


The Procurement Performance Controller will play an active role in Procurement's vision in being a strategic business partner accountable for the delivery of goods & services to the right quality/ standard, ensuring that value for money is always achieved.


This will be delivered in a transparent and professional manner to continuously provide and improve the services that Priory Median delivers.


Responsibilities of the role include:


  • Report directly to the Head of Procurement
  • Develop, track, and report Procurement KPI and Procurement project status
  • Supplier Analysis provide summary of supplier savings, spend and compliance
  • Category Overview Reporting summary of category risks, savings, and compliance presented quarterly.
  • Procurement Reporting provide details of the actual vs budget spend for key categories monthly.
  • Project Reporting provide data analysis for current and future projects
  • Monitor and drive performance by region and site and report deviations to the Head of Procurement

The successful applicant will:


  • Degree level education in disciplines such as computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics is preferred but not compulsory
  • Proven project management experience
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Proven experience in using analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
  • Experience in programming is an advantage (e.g., VBA)
  • Ability to carry out data quality control, validation and linkage
  • Ability to produce clear graphical representations and data visualisations

Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years in a Data management role (e.g., Data analyst, Analyst)
