About the role

  • We are looking for someone who is keen to make a difference, to help us deliver Cheltenham Borough Council's ambitious goal to reach net zero by 2030, and to support our community in adapting to the changing climate.
  • As a key member of a small Climate and Flooding team, you will be:
  • supporting delivery of climate-focused initiatives, working across the council and with key stakeholders.
- supporting our flood risk management activities and projects. Acting as the initial point of contact for our customers in respect of flood matters and community engagement.

This role would suit someone keen to develop a career in sustainability, with knowledge of climate change and/or flooding. You will possess excellent engagement and communication skills and need to be able to juggle competing priorities.
