Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in the classroom, including preparing materials and setting up equipment
- Supporting students with special educational needs, including those with physical, emotional, and learning difficulties
- Encouraging and promoting independence and positive behaviour
- Assisting with individual needs in the college and out in the community
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with students and staff members
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker or working with students with special educational needs (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine desire to help students succeed and reach their full potential
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidelines and procedures
