Learning Support Assistant

Abingdon

£12.30 /h

Responsibilities:

Assisting teachers in the classroom, including preparing materials and setting up equipment
Supporting students with special educational needs, including those with physical, emotional, and learning difficulties
Encouraging and promoting independence and positive behaviour
Assisting with individual needs in the college and out in the community
Building and maintaining positive relationships with students and staff members

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker or working with students with special educational needs (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A genuine desire to help students succeed and reach their full potential
Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidelines and procedures
