Demand Generation Representative

Rate:
£95-114 per day (inside IR35)


Hours:9am-6pm

Our team is changing the way we interact with customers around the globe and building a new, emerging business in shipping tosolve some of the biggest logístical opportunities facing not just our client, but the entire industry.

Our client's Shipping is looking for driven, results orientated and customer obsessed Demand Generation Representatives, responsible for prospecting new opportunities amongst businesses who would benefit from shipping with us.

You will be directly responsiblein impacting a customer's first experience of working with our business, working to KPIs that directly measure prospecting, business development and lead generation conversion through qualification.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to prospecting, lead generation and qualification activities
  • Understanding industry themes, customer priorities, and our client's Shipping positioning
  • Meet or exceed targets for lead generation and qualification
  • Interact up to Team Lead/VP Level with customers (e.g. Head of Operations). Ability to articulate and discuss key focus areas
  • Ability to qualify and prioritize prospects by working with various stakeholders
  • Think beyond individual campaigns and applies knowledge to future plans
  • Follow SOPs in order to update our CRM (Salesforce) and qualify customers so they can start shipping with our client's Shipping as fast as possible
  • Work closely with our client's Shipping stakeholders such as marketing, sales, commercial operations or customers programs

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equal experience
  • Experience working in client facing roles, ideally in a business development function
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to influence people both internally and externally
  • Strong and successful communication skills which include the ability to write compelling, concise documents
  • Decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.
  • Active listener, effective communicator and strong closer
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goal
  • Experience working with distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in a startup/highgrowth environment
  • Background in operations, customer experience, logistics a plus
