Description
In this role, you will not only be responsible for meticulous planning, coordination, and administration of external-led activities but also for fostering meaningful partnerships with residents.
We recognise the importance of approaching activity planning collaboratively with our residents, demonstrating empathy and understanding of the barriers they may face, especially those living in care and/or with dementia.
As the key contributor to our activity programme, the post holder will actively seek, cultivate, and nurture partnerships, both internally and externally.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders is paramount, ensuring the creation of engaging opportunities that resonate with all residents in our homes.
This is a hybrid role where you are with visits required to our care homes one/two days per week for face to face meetings and engagement with residents.
About you
You'll be a creative individual with a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of residents in our care homes.
You are compassionate, with experience in working with vulnerable populations, including individuals with complex needs and/or dementia.
Effective communication is second nature to you, both in writing and verbally, enabling you to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
Your experience in coordinating and delivering engaging activities and events demonstrates your ability to create meaningful experiences for diverse audiences.
You'll proficiency in event planning, coupled with the knack for efficiently coordinating and prioritising tasks, ensures the seamless execution of our activity program across all locations.
