At Sage, Content Designers play a critical role in delivering compelling digital content for defined target audiences, supporting digital experiences, and providing help and product guidance.
For this role, you will be working with the Sage Earth team. Sage Earth is an award-winning carbon accounting software helping SMBs reach net zero emissions.Content Designers combine language and authoring best practices with analysis and tools expertise
They:
- Possess a combination of UX writing and technical writing skills, and an understanding of usercentered design.
- Guide the user to success, helping to design solutions that are easy to learn, and efficient to use, meeting the exact needs of the user with simplicity and elegance.
- Understand globalization and localization, crafting engaging and culturallyrelevant copy that shape the local experiences of our mobile, web, and desktop solutions.
- Are inspired by user engagement and immersed in user context and the problem domain.
- Deliver just the right amount of intelligent content in context—providing users with the information they need when they need it, on the platform and device of their choosing.
- Have a broad range of experience with authoring tools for digital content experiences, and advanced knowledge of reuse and singlesourcing strategies.
- Be able to translate complicated scientific language into easy to digest human language.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft microcopy and compelling usercentered content for Sage solutions.
- Provide accessible assistance to improve activation, guiding firsttime and expert users to success and obtain maximum value.
- Define the content strategy, information model, and delivery channels and outputs for the product.
- Develop templates, process, and content style guidelines.
- Create release guides content both for internal and external stack holders.
- Work closely with design, technical and product to define requirements/user journeys.
