We are looking for a talented writer to join our growing Wealth team to create engaging and money-saving content for Look After My Bills (Lamb), which we are relaunching as a personal finance content site dedicated to helping people cut the cost of their bills, and improve their personal finances.


What you'll be doing...

  • You will understand the various and wideranging facets of personal finance, especially the world of home services, whether that is how to save money on energy, broadband, council tax or TV bills.
  • You will be able to turn complex information into easytounderstand content that helps people make quick decisions related to their finances. You will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, in the knowledge that users will make decisions based on your words. You will be a talented writer and, over time, you will also create videos and ways to communicate with users via other means.
  • You will be data driven and have experience using and understanding SEO best practices to pick stories to cover and to optimise them.
  • You will keep your promises, be a highly organised planner and be a great communicator.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • A strong track record of producing engaging, accurate and easytoundertand writen and other forms of content to help our users save money and truly understand their personal finances.
  • A strong understanding of the energy, broadband, mobile phone, water and other home bills market.
  • A passion for analysing the intricate nature of financial products to be able to help users understand the maths to determine what is the best deal for users.
  • You should be comfortable with producing plain English copy by breaking down complex financial jargon.
  • A high comfort level with content management systems.
  • A strong familiarity with SEO best practice.
  • You should be comfortable with using spreadsheets to organise content.
  • You should understand and embrace social media and other evolving digital platforms.
  • You must have a passionate commitment to quality, timeliness and accuracy.
