Home Based, Hybrid or Office Based Cheshire - Flexible

Basic Salary £25,000-£30,000 Pro Rata dependant on experience plus 5 weeks of annual holiday

Part Time, 20 Hours A Week (does include a late afternoon as part of the normal working week)

Our client a well-respected and reputable engineering membership body is currently looking for a Committees Administrator. They are based in Cheshire, Northwest of England but flexible from where this person is based.

It is part time 20 hours a week whichdoes include administering an international committee based in the USA which takes place on a weekday 4.00pm to 5.30pm.

Attendance is part of the part time role.


The Role of Committees Administrator


The role of the Committees Administrator is to provide professional support to the 18 International technical working groups that are currently operated by the engineering membership body.

This is a key role, involving the organisation and facilitation ofall aspects of meeting logistics for each of the working groups.

The main requirement is to ensure that working groups are meeting regularly, are working efficiently, and are following guidelines and procedures.

The Committees Administrator would be part ofthe Technical Team and would report to the Chief Technical Officer.


Main Responsibilities
Organising, scheduling and preparing working group meetings.

Communicating with working group members to ensure all information relating to meetings is provided

Hosting working group meetings - the majority of meetings will take place in a virtual setting using an online meeting platform

Communicating and liaising with Working Group Chairs and presenters, as required

Writing and distributing minutes for meetings

Ensuring that working group members and staff are aware of actions resulting from meetings

Liaising with the Chief Technical Officer and other staff members to progress working group activities and highlight areas where additional support is needed

Comfortable interacting and working with world-class engineers and analysts

A proactive approach, a can-do attitude

High level of organisational and communication skills

Ability to engage in and efficiently document meetings

Ability to multitask

Capable of working on own initiative in carrying out day-to-day tasks with limited need for supervision.
