Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT Digital Specialist on a rolling 12-month contract, to join a multinational, automotive manufacturer based in the Warwickshire area.

Hams Hall


Pay rate:
£22.46ph


Standard working hours: 37.5hours per week


The role of the IT Digital Specialist is to work within the Strategy and Planning field of the business, to focus on continuous improvement & development of the IT infrastructure.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • You will be responsible for the implementation of the IT systems.
  • You will use your skills to work together with other departments and plan for the best use of technology. You will help to ensure all systems work well and are efficient and effective.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, performance, and quality in this field.
  • Ensure the principles for process management are adhered to and implemented through the introduction of IT Digital solutions.
  • You will lead a crossfunctional cooperation and share your expertise across various locations both nationally and internationally. Your role will involve supporting the digital and data driven initiatives to enhance facility and energy management processes.
  • You will be educated to a higherlevel degree (Batchelor, Master) or equivalent in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
  • Must have extensive experience in leading large IT projects, focusing on data as well as international projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT hardware and software (IT architecture, data architecture and cloud architecture)
  • Experience in software development and at least one common programming language is advantageous.
  • Analytical thinking and structured working method
  • Must be motivated and have the ability to work under pressure.
