Faculty / Directorate


The Marketing and Communications Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising reputation management; brand development and oversight; recruitment campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; schools and collegesengagement; enquiry management and follow up; internal communications; media relations; design and publications development; Faculty marketing and recruitment; web and digital development; and market insight.


Role


As Marketing & Recruitment Officer, your skills will be invaluable in marketing and student recruitment activity for undergraduate and postgraduate provision in the This will help us meet recruitment targets for domestic, EU and international markets.

Youwill be supporting a broad range of marketing projects, including the production and delivery of marketing and recruitment plans, events, materials and communications.

You will liaise with in-house teams to produce high quality marketing content and campaigns;including production and copywriting of print and online materials, and the development of key webpages and video content.


This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, the post could end sooner if the post holder returns sooner.


To be successful, you must be educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be an excellent communicator with strong project management skills, have a flexible and pro-active approach with the ability to multi-task and enjoy working as part of a busyand enthusiastic team.

You will need to be organised, confident and able to use your own initiative. Willingness to work some unsociable hours at weekends and occasionally evenings is essential. Previous experience of working in a marketing role and a passionfor innovation and creativity is essential.
