Description

Responsibilities:


  • Understand the build process expected for conversion of vehicles for wheelchair access,
  • Cut out/modify the floor of the vehicle to prepare for conversion,
  • Fit conversion and ramp,
  • Ability to use hand tools such as saws, grinders, and drills effectively,
  • Fit Wheelchair and Passenger Restraint systems,
  • Fit and wire other accessories on request i.e. winch, side steps,
  • Build conversions following the build manual for the set vehicle,
  • Solve problems that occur during the build process,
  • Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role,
  • Full driving licence,
  • A great work ethic with a positive, cando attitude,
  • Excellent time keeping,
  • Pride in quality workmanship.
  • Initiative to work alone as well as successfully within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute effectively
